Nate had plans to go out with some of his coworkers so, after I got home from my walk, I felt the pull to get my craftiness on. It was so relaxing to put on good music and create. A lot of décor was made for my craft room/library/guest room and I'm excited to share it with you later!
Amazingly enough (remember, this is Portland), it was sunny again on Saturday! It was so refreshing to get up to sunshine. After Nate's done with Seminary, I've decided we have to move somewhere with sunshine. Since Nate had to work a few hours on Saturday morning, I got to do my Bible study, drink coffee, and the CRAFT AGAIN! Best Saturday morning!
Around noon, Nate got home from work. Date time! We stopped by the mall to grab some bubble tea. I love me some bubble tea. (I grew up in Asia, people, of course I love bubble tea)
With the yumminess in our bellies, we drove downtown to walk around the waterfront. I love going on walks with my love! He also took pictures for my very first outfit post! (Coming soon!)
Once we got home, homework was completed (by the hubby, not me), laundry was done (by me, not the hubby), and dinner was eaten (Asian steak).
What happens on a warm weekend night? FIRE! Hot Cocoa had to be made first, of course.
It was marvelous to spend the evening drinking cocoa, cuddling with my husband, and simply talking. I love sharing my heart with him.
Sunday was the Portland Blogger's Style Shoot Meetup. I'll be sharing more about it later, but it was a blast!
I got to get all dolled up and get some awesome style shots taken. I can't wait to share more about the event and the pictures that were taken with you all later. I've seen a sneak peak of them and they're great!
After finishing up with the meetup, I had to hurry home so Nate and I could take off to our friends Wes and Lara's house. They made Ethiopian food for us since Wes lived in Ethiopia for a few years. (With six Ethiopian siblings and two trips there under my belt, I have to love that food!) It was so great to eat, play Settlers of Catan, and have fun conversation with a great couple!
My weekend was jam packed full of fun! How was yours?

That sounds like a great weekend! Mine was nice, too. Not quite as busy, but I kind of needed to relax a bit. I got to hang out with my husband, get a massage, go car shopping, and visit my grandmother. I had to get some work done too, but that wasn't the fun part. :)
